Jeff Koons’ ”Untitled (Girl wih Dolphin and Monkey)” was commissioned by the Whitney Museum of American Art in 2006. It features a young brunette pinup girl straddling an inflatable dolphin while kissing an inflatable monkey. No one is entirely sure where exactly this idea came from, but it’s a perfect image of sexy, silly kitsch. The photo is one of an edition of 25 and is still hung at the Whitney in New York.
